This is a front mount intercooler kit for the Mazdaspeed 3. It's loaded with only the highest quality components, including:
Garrett GT high density bar & plate intercooler (400HP)
Garrett GT high density bar & plate intercooler (600HP Optional Upgrade)
High polished aluminum piping (all mandrel bent)
Multi-layer Fiber reinforced silicone coupler connectors (your choice of color)

No cutting is required for installation. Power gains are huge on both stock turbo and upgraded turbo setups. Drastic drop in intake temperature relieves the engine of constant heatsoaking condition that robs the car of its power. By lowering the peak operating charge temp by over 30 degrees, this intercooler upgrade kit allows the car to operate at full power freely and consistently without holding back when the engine gets warm. The reduction in charge temp also reduces the changes of engine knock. The Garrett GT core also removes a flow-through bottleneck that is inherent in the factory top-mounted intercooler which hinders peak HP. This FMIC upgrade is one of the simplest ways to increase both HP and reliability on the MazdaSpeed3 engine.
