The Moroso all aluminum coolant/water overflow/expansion tank replaces the Mazda RX-7 OEM crack-prone plastic coolant reservoir. All of the stock RX-8 water tanks fail sooner or later. When it does, it'll dump most of the engine coolant from the engine quickly. Normally the driver doesn't know it happened until after the engine over heats. This commonly leads to super heating the inner water jacket o-ring in the engine & compromising the seal. (The equivalent of a blown head gasket on a piston engine) The only remedy is a new or rebuilt engine.
